The Challenge
FILA is a leading footwear brand in India. They were facing issues with returns as well as low buyer confidence in fit.
FILA and Dopplr partnered to evaluate whether a 3D Virtual Try-On solution built by Dopplr could improve customer acquisition and reduce returns being faced by the brand.
The Solution
Across 50+ SKUs and ~400,000 sessions, the analysis demonstrates how Dopplr’s
photorealistic, body-adaptive visualization layer materially improves purchase intent, checkout
confidence, and revenue throughput, even at low adoption
This report measures Dopplr’s impact on FILA’s footwear PDP performance by comparing three
distinct merchandising cycles:
● S1 (Benchmark) – No Dopplr
● S2 (With Dopplr) – Improved clarity & confidence
● S3 (With Dopplr) – Expanded product range, higher scale
The Results
Dopplr’s highest influence appears once users reach add-to-cart, where intent is highest.
S1 (Before Dopplr) 6.72%
S2 (With Dopplr) 9.81%
S3 (With Dopplr) 8.91%
Checkout Conversion Uplift
● S2 vs S1: +46% improvement
● S3 vs S1: +32% improvement
Shoppers who reach checkout with Dopplr complete the transaction at a much higher
rate, demonstrating greater confidence in fit, colour, construction, and fabric feel.
Engagement & Behavioral Insights
Dopplr Drives High-Intent Engagement
● Even with ~10% adoption, Dopplr users accounted for nearly half of all purchases in S2
● Engagement time > 45–50 seconds indicates deep product evaluation using 3D visualization
● S3 shows similar behavior patterns despite a more broader SKU set
Their users were able to check the fit and features of the bra right on the PDP with the ability to zoom in and check the fabric quality
Higher Engagement at PDP
FILA was able to improve engagement at PDP by up to 2x leading to 1.5x conversion impact
Better Checkout Completion Rates
